Fr. Francis Hannafey, SJ, professor of religious studies at Fairfield University, professed final vows in the Society of Jesus on April 21 in the Egan Chapel of Saint Ignatius Loyola.

New England Provincial Fr. Myles Sheehan, SJ, concelebrated the Mass with Fr. Paul Holland, SJ, rector of the Jesuit community at Fairfield.  See additional photos on our “Jesuits East” Facebook page.

Final Vows is the last step in a Jesuit’s formation.  To learn more about final vows, read “Final Vows? What’s That?” in America magazine by Fr. Jim Martin, SJ.
